Oh the sweet memories of youth! I can remember the eternal and annual question of the month – October that is: What are you going to be for Halloween? Now depending on who was asking, you either told or said “I’m not telling, it’s a secret”. I miss going out for Halloween and I’m talking about going out with my friends, not taking my kids out. My husband always did that because I LOVED getting dressed up and scaring the bejesus out of the kids who came to the door. I carved the pumpkins, set up the spooky music and had a ball! And I got to eat Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups between Trick or Treaters.
Anyway, I thought you might enjoy some Halloween inspiration as we approach my favorite holiday.

my daughter is currenly working on making her mask .she is going to be a Power Ranger.the blue one . she is 19 yrs. old! my 25 yr. old is going to be a trekie from star trek. I’m already looking into buying more than enough candy for all the trick or treaters. I almost bought it today but if I did it would be gone by then!
I know what you mean by eating the candy pre-Halloween. By the way those photos come from the Greenwich Village Halloween parades.
I’m not sure what I can be this year, a new grandchild is going to be born and I have to be there with my daughter.

Feeling sad over here reading this post. I so miss Halloween:( That is also one of my favorite holiday of celebration beside Christmas. On a better note I am digging the photos quite festive and funny. How did he get his tongue to be exactly like kiss? Is that just a plastic tongue over his tongue? I would love to watch him eat or drink something, lol.
Hi Lora,
I will be posting lots of Halloween photos between now and then. They are all from the Greenwich Village Halloween parades. I have no idea how these guys (most of them are guys) do these things but I have seen those plastic tongues that go over your own. I don’t think I can dress up this year or at least not very much because I have to be in Boston with my daughter who is going to have a baby just before then. She says no kids come to her building so we will go to the South End of Boston where several streets are closed for Halloween festivities. I am going to link your blog as we get closer to the day.
Oh wow congratulation! I remember reading a little about your daughter dealing with the preparation of the Snow white and Latex party. Who ever reading this and scratching their head it is a nice blog. Search for Latex or Snow White and you find it:)
Once again congratulation…just watch how time fly by!
Thanks Lora, I guess I will be with the little “princess” and my daughter will have the newborn. Halloween is just not going to be the same but now there will be another child to dress up in the future.
That’s the spirit:)
you mean “spirits” lolol
