I thought about the title of this blog…I wonder how many people will pick up on it because of the words Jersey Shore? It conjures up images of Snookie, The Situation, Windmill hot dogs and a Jerseylicious look! Ocean Grove couldn’t be further from those images and here we are in the heart of the Jersey Shore. Our magical little town ( I always refer to it that way) is quaint, lovely, and prides itself on being very American; Flags and bunting are everywhere.

No Refunds for the Weather!
There are many ways to celebrate a birthday; Personally I like the idea of parades, barbeques, fireworks, floats and ice cream socials as a way to commemorate a birthday. Mmmm maybe next year!?
Bill Ding and his band of clowns are the security patrol for this blog site. He is a favorite toy from the 50*s. By the way sometimes a blog is just an ego-maniacal stream of conscience.

thank you Lori for bringing it to our attention that the Jersey Shore is a wonderful place… I am not into the snooky or her group. I have not watched the program, but unfortunately they are all over the place giving the “jersey shore” a wretched look.
My times “down the shore” were wonderful.. the Garden State Parkway was my road to practice shifting the gears in my ’69 MGB after tossing the quarters every 30 miles at the pay stations.. oh the memories… of down the shore…
I am Jersey girl.. very proud of my homeland — if you wanted to “tawk” it represented a great deal of style to back it up!!!
